2) What this notice covers
This notice explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you:
- Sign in using Login with Amazon, and/or
- Connect your Amazon accounts via Amazon OAuth permissions (“Amazon Data Access”) so Inktelligence can retrieve and analyze your Amazon Ads and KDP-related data.
3) Amazon Login (identity scopes) — what we request and receive
When you click “Sign in with Amazon”, Amazon may share profile information with us based on the permissions you authorize.
We typically request and receive:
- Amazon user ID (a unique identifier for your account within our app)
- Name
- Email address
- Postal/ZIP code (only if you approve it)
We do not receive your Amazon password, and we cannot access it.
4) Amazon Data Access (Ads + KDP) — what you authorize
Separately from sign-in, we will ask you to authorize access (via Amazon OAuth) so Inktelligence can retrieve data needed to provide analytics, profitability insights, recommendations, and briefings.
Amazon Ads data
Examples include (depending on what you approve): campaigns, ad groups, keywords/search terms, placements, budgets/bids, and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, sales/attribution, etc.).
KDP-related book data
Examples include (depending on what you approve and what is accessible through the connected integration): book identifiers, titles/metadata, and performance/royalty-related outputs such as royalties and/or KENP reads.
5) Your consent
By using these features, you consent to:
- Sign-in consent: Amazon sharing your profile information (Section 3) so we can create and secure your Inktelligence account.
- Data-access consent (Ads + KDP): Inktelligence retrieving and processing the Ads/KDP data you authorize (Section 4) to provide analytics, profitability calculations, recommendations, and briefings.
You can withdraw consent at any time by revoking access in Amazon settings and/or deleting your Inktelligence account (see Section 12).
6) What we collect
Depending on what you connect and how you use the service, we may collect/process:
- Account data: Amazon user ID, name, email, and account metadata (e.g., created date, plan/subscription status).
- Authorized Amazon data: Amazon Ads data and KDP-related book performance/royalty data you approve via OAuth.
- Briefing & recommendation outputs: generated insights, alerts, weekly briefing content, and your feedback on recommendations.
- Billing data: subscription status and billing events processed through a payment provider (we do not aim to store full card details on our own systems).
- Technical data: device/browser info, log data, and diagnostics necessary for security and reliability.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your Amazon password.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not require your personal home address or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it for support.
7) How we use your data
We use your information to:
- Create and maintain your account and authenticate logins
- Retrieve the Ads/KDP data you authorize and generate insights (e.g., profitability, trends, alerts, and weekly briefings)
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues
- Secure the service, prevent fraud/abuse, and monitor reliability
- Improve the product using aggregated and/or de-identified analysis (e.g., “which recommendation types are most often marked helpful”), not by selling or exposing individual user data
8) What we will never do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your Amazon Ads/KDP data with unrelated third parties for their marketing or advertising.
- We do not use your Amazon data to build advertising profiles for third parties.
9) Sharing & disclosure
We may share data only in the following limited situations:
- Service providers that help us operate Inktelligence (e.g., hosting, email delivery, billing/payment processing, error monitoring). They are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
- Support access (when needed): If you contact support, authorized staff may access your account data only as needed to resolve the issue, and only to the extent reasonably necessary.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred subject to comparable privacy protections.
10) Cookies & similar technologies
We may use cookies/local storage and similar technologies for:
- Login/session management
- Security
- Basic analytics to improve product performance
Where required by law, we will provide a cookie banner and consent controls.
11) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access controls and least-privilege permissions
- Secure storage practices for OAuth tokens/credentials
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to reduce risk and improve protections.
12) Retention, revoking access, and deletion
Retention
We retain personal data and connected Ads/KDP data only as long as needed to provide the service (including historical analytics), meet legal/security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Revoking Amazon access
You can revoke Amazon OAuth access (for Ads/KDP and/or Login with Amazon) in your Amazon account settings for connected apps/services. Revoking stops future data retrieval.
Deleting your Inktelligence account
You may request account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data and connected data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, fraud prevention, or accounting purposes.
13) Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Malaysia’s PDPA where relevant), you may request to:
- Access or correct your personal data
- Delete your data / close your account
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Export your data where feasible
To exercise these rights, contact: privacy@inktelligence.ai
14) Children
Inktelligence is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this notice periodically. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice if changes are material.
